Welcome to Fracture Club: The Podcast
Nobody asks to join Fracture Club. But six million Americans break a bone every year, and most of them spend the next three to six months feeling like no one around them quite gets it. The cast comes off eventually. The loneliness of those first few weeks, the frustration of a jar you cannot open, the three a.m. spiral when the pain waits for the dark, that part does not always get talked about.
So we made a podcast about it.
Welcome to Fracture Club (Membership is Involuntary) is our new series for the people in the cast, the boot, and the sling. It is a space for the real stories, honest conversations, and small moments of recognition that make recovery feel a little less lonely. Every episode brings you voices from inside the community, people who have been where you are and are willing to talk about the part of healing that nobody prepares you for.
Why a podcast?
Fracture Club is a purpose-driven recovery community and curated shop built to inspire, connect, and support everyone navigating life with a broken bone. The clothes are one way we do that. The podcast is another. Recovery is not just physical, and the information patients actually need, what it feels like, how to cope, what helps, rarely shows up in a discharge packet. We wanted to create something that lives alongside you through the long middle of recovery, not just the first appointment.
Episode 1: Healing Hurts More Than the Break
Our first episode sits down with the words of T. Armstrong, our beloved teddy bear mascot and honorary Fracture Club member. T. Armstrong does not sugarcoat it. He talks about the heartbreak of lying awake at three in the morning, the way pain waits for the dark, and the moment you lose it over a jar you cannot open. He also talks about the small victories that keep you going. The one-handed cup of coffee. The playlist you made yourself. The morning that somehow feels lighter than the night before.
Come for the conversation. Stay for the reminder that healing loops, but so does hope.
